Discovery

I came across info about a flea/farmer's market in our area that we've never gone to, and talked my guy into making a trip there to see if it was any good. Boy, was it worth the ride. Most of the flea market side vendors there were not pros, just folks selling crafts, baked goods and yard sale stuff.

I was really impressed with the big famer's market area. It's tomato season here, and there were some real beauties for sale from our local farmers.

Yellow and orange bell peppers are 3 for a buck here. I'd pay $5 for three small ones, or $3.99 each for the larger, at my market. I didn't need any veggies on this trip, but we decided to make this farmer's market a regular stop in the future.

I miss the real, old fashioned farmers markets. The only one closest to us is all prepared foods and "boutique" produce.
