Again with the Linen

I finished the first of the five rows of patchwork I have left to embroider on the recycled linen quilt, improving as I went along. One thing I noticed that's changed in the past year is my stitching, which is not as polished despite almost daily practice. Losing the flexibility in two more fingers due to arthritis is probably the cause. That's a bit depressing, but at least I can still hand stitch.

I'm not judging myself or what I got accomplished; I'm just glad to be finishing this quilt. I hate leaving projects unfinished.

I might be stiff with the stitching, but it's soothing for me. I have a lot going on right now, and need the outlet.

I thought to keep from burning out on this quilt again I'd do little projects in between tackling each row. Stop by tomorrow if you want to see the first of those.
