Limbered

Warming up for the next quilt means a little slow stitch piece first. I still remember how to make spoke-woven roses, too.

I love my thrifted storage boxes, too. I might have to make more when I fill these up.

I'm also turning little scrap balls of yarn into crochet stitch practice pieces. Everything ends up a coaster or pot holder, but getting back into this is really helping keep my fingers loose and limber.

Lovely little quilted piece! My fingers are loose and limber. They've just developed a mind of their own and though my brain is telling them to do one thing, they evidently have other plans. It's gotten a little worrisome to be honest. Even my typing comments like this some days have become torture because I know where the keys are but my fingers are hitting something entirely different.

Progress

My guy is back home safe, sound and exhausted. I think he just realized he's over seventy now. :) I didn't finish a sewing project while he was gone, but I did make some progress on the beach bag. I've tacked down all the fabric elements on top of the old backing fabric I quilted. Time to break out the embroidery thread box and have some fun.

Wild Ride

Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds is an epic, dazzling film that hurls you into the Korean version of the afterlife while showcasing some of the most impressive special effects I've ever seen in any movie.
