Temptation Numbers

There are 24 different fabrics in the lot I couldn't resist.

Altogether they measured out to 42.71 yards, including eight pristine yards of this navy and white striped cotton.

The original owner probably made clothes and other sewing projects as well as quilts, and the lot were their scraps. Here's a piece of evergreen velveteen and a purple faux suede.

An adorable yard of Wilderness kids fabric. This lot has some of the nicest quality fabrics I've got by thrifting; some would definitely sell for $8.99 or more a yard. There's a medium blue solid synthetic that appears to be evening gown fabric, and that can run $20.00 a yard or more. There were five fabrics including the navy/white stripe and the blue gown fabric that were 2-1/2 yards or more in length. The only downside is that everything has a bit of a storage smell, but everything can be washed or cleaned.

I would price this lot at $5.00 a yard for resale, or $213.55 total value. I paid about a dollar a yard for the lot via the buy-it-now option (which Goodwill online sometimes offers), so I'm quite happy with what I got.
