Vintage Haul Part 1

Old textiles, especially those that are sturdy enough to be used for their original purpose, are at the top of my favorite things list. We have a small square dining table that we're keeping for Kat while she's off on her adventures. It happens to be of odd dimensions, so I only have three tablecloths for it (and one of those has a big hole in it now.) This vintage embroidered linen tablecloth is a perfect fit, and came with four matching napkins.

Isn't the embroidery gorgeous? Like stepping back in time.

I'll have to do something special with this cutter quilt piece. The colors are just perfectly mellowed.

This embroidered linen hand towel is definitely vintage and yet was never used.

How can I tell? Still has its label attached.

The seller of my vintage haul sent some delightful extras along with my order, too. That kind of generosity is something I truly appreciate. There's more to see -- stay tuned for Part 2. :)
