Pupsitting

This is my other grandchild, Gizmo. She's my son's rescue pup, and we're babysitting her this week to give Oliver's mom a break. She of course loves our house and makes herself right at home:

Our dogs are too elderly to do much more than hobble around and nap these days, so it's fun to have a young pup staying with us.

Gizmo is part whippet or greyhound, so she loves to play ball -- and she runs like a deer.

We have to send her back home on Thursday, but until then we'll be spending lots of time in the yard.

You can see the whippet in that tail! And I just bet she's a runner. She looks like one :)

She's beautiful! I love her sleek body and long lines. The vet I used to work for had a whippet named Sister. Of all his dogs, she was my favorite. She was a sweet, gentle soul.
