What About the Wannabuts?

I did not win the lot of carded fabric looked like some kind of samples or perhaps precuts. I was only willing to spend $15.00 on this collection, which I had planned to donate to the local guild if I won. The winning bid came in at a whopping $84.00. Whew, that was waaaaaaaaaaaay to much for mystery fabric.

This Rolife kit is one I've wanted for many years, but only if I could get it for $10.00. Results: Nope. Final bid was $19.02.

This lot of vintage wooden spools I'd like to use to make some slow stitch reels was one that I was only willing to pay $15.00 for. What happened? I was outbid by a last-minute sniper who outbid me by a dollar. Oh, well.

What's the point of showing three auctions I lost? I don't mind at all. Remember, they're wannabuts: things I want, but only if I can pay the minimum. Someone else was willing to pay more, so good for them.
