Wannabuts

In October I bid on three different items at ShopGoodwill.com that I wanted, but only for the minimum bid. This is because they're wants, but not needs (what I think of as wannabuts.) This collection of carded fabric looked like some kind of samples or perhaps precuts. I want to know what they are, and I'm will to spend $15.00 to find out -- but no more. I do intend to donate them to the local quilting guild, btw. :)

I have wanted this particular Rolife kit for years, but I've never been able to find it reasonably priced anywhere. Bonus: this one is sealed, so it likely has all the parts. I'd love to build it over the holidays -- but only for $10.00.

I've been thinking about doing more slow stitch reels, so this lot of vintage wooden spools would be wonderful to own -- but again, only if I can get them for $10.00.

Did I win any of my wannabuts? Stay tuned to the blog to find out.
