Fabscrap order #2 arrived a few days after the first one landed.
I definitely wanted to show you this one because of the two garments that came, both as medium-size mendables. Unlike the garments that came yesterday these two are going to be difficult to creatively mend. This balloon-sleeved blouse has black sharpie markings in several places. I'll see if there's a way to hide or remove them, but I probably won't be able to make this one wearable.
This futuristic black plastic scrub top is very weird -- thick, heavy, and not in any way attractive to me. I'm thinking about turning it into shopping bags or maybe an apron.
On the upside I scored a sequn scrap pack. These pieces were all very cool. I've always wanted to do something really flashy, so maybe they'll become an art piece. :)
I also got another white scrap pack, with a nice variety of very usable fabrics. That length of creamy knit might have come from a disassembled sweater.
I've definitely got my work cut out for me. Stay tuned to see how I do.
