Lucky you! I had a cercropia moth caterpillar in one of my birch trees this year. I almost brought it in (do raise monarchs and am raising my first black swallowtail) but I opted not to. I wish I had now because I lost track of it in the tree. The caterpillar was as round and longer than my thumb and my thumbs are really long!
