Mask Production

Because I suspect we'll all be using cloth masks for at least the next several months, if not the rest of the year, I've organized and streamlined my process of making them, and will be making a few every week so I can keep my promise to be your free mask source. :) Here are three that I made last night with the standard patterns, which I'm keeping in ziplock bags marked with the sizes:

If I can fit a wearer in person I can also alter the patterns to the dimensions of their particular features, like these that I customized for my daughter's long face and small nose:

I'm first washing all the fabric I use for the masks, and then hanging it to dry before I iron and cut to pattern:

I'm also sorting through my fat quarter collections to find some attractive prints to use for the masks, like this Coats & Clark bundle:

If I end up with a surplus, which I likely will, I'll donate them.

You're awesome!

Your picture of the fabric in the bath made me laugh. I needed that today. *sigh*
