Theo sent me a gift card for my birthday, which I spent on a quilt kit (sorry about the glare) and a mystery box of fabric remnants from a seller who has absolutely the best scraps and packs the boxes practically to bursting. I love these boxes for the inspiration they give me, and it's always fun to see what arrives, too.
This time I got a bunch of low-volume remnants, the end of a king-size quilt backing (with about a half-yard of lovely new cotton batting still attached), tons of strips and squares and a booklet on yoyos. Probably altogether about twenty yards of fabric. The seller even included three spools of ribbon.
I'm really excited about the low-volume remnants, as I've been wanting to make a lap quilt with them paired with maybe some gray. Anyway, I will have a lot of fun working on the kit and recycling these scraps this winter. Thank you, my dear pal.
