While browsing Goodwill this scarf caught my eye. It's either rayon or polyster, and in colors I generally avoid, and yet I couldn't stop looking at it. It just seemed bright and happy to me, and it made me smile, so I bought it.
Please note that I never wear scarves. As in never ever. I just liked the fabric. It had no snags or frays or stains, so at $1.99 it was a steal.
I have no idea what I'm going to make out of it. Maybe a pillow cover, maybe a bag, or maybe I'll just drape it somewhere and look at it some more. It's one of those weird things that the universe threw at me. Whenever that happens, I go along for the ride.

Good for you! I have the worst luck at thrift stores. And now some of my friends are saying some thrift stores have significantly raised their prices so a double win for you.
I haven't been in a thrift store in ages. I should start going again. Maybe. Last time, I'd go often with a friend. Or who I thought was a friend. Long story but the end of that so called friendship actually saved me and I haven't gone since. Good finds though!
