Look Back

I tackled spring cleaning in April, so I kept my projects to a minimum. The first was making this medium variation of the big basket by Jayda InStitches with thrifted yarn.

I made an art quilt tote out of old flour sacking, hand-dyed art fabric and some beads, and lined it with a pretty thrifted fern print.

I tried arm-crochet and made a chair pad with thrifted super bulky chenille.

I used another of my thrifted jewelry kits to make this dancing dragonfly trio.

I turned a crazy quilt block I restored a few years ago into an embroidered brooch holder.

I made an amigurumi jelly fish out of thrifted yarn.

Finally I kept up with my calendar mood blanket project, adding two new colors: mauve for excited, and spruce green for romantic. I really only had three negative mood days in April, and for the most used color there was a tie between determined and content, both came in six times each. Stay tuned to the blog to see what I get up to in May.
