Massive

As my first project for March I decided to make a giant version of the variegated yarn basket, for which I thrifted a chunky striped white, brown and blue chenille (two skeins that were included in the small but perfect lot.) This time I also used Fabscrap cone and baby weight thrifted white yarns with it to make it more of a neutral color blend. This is a good example to demonstrate how the thickness of yarn affects stitch gauge, because I used the same pattern and same hook as the other baskets I've made. Thanks to the bulkiness of the chenille, this one came out twice as large.

I aslo added three more rows to the top section of the basket to give it a little extra height.

Now I have a place for all my white and off white skeins of yarn. :)
