Things are going well in the gardens, and we've already started harvesting some radishes. Maria, I think your pickling cucumbers (right) are falling in love with our salad cucumbers (left). If they have babies, will they be gerkins?
The second planting of pole beans are sprouted and starting to climb the twine. I swear, these are the easiest plants to grow in the garden.
Hard to see but the purple carrots have sprouted, too.
The radish seeds you sent me are now all grown up, Maria. Had some with dinner last night and intend to plant more.
And I do believe we will have homegrown corn to eat on Thanksgiving.

You did great!

LOL! Wouldn't that be neat?
No. You're safe from this batch.
Now, if you saved seed from these cucumbers there's a chance you'll get a new breed of cucumber. I've had it happen with zucchini and spaghetti squash. It started to look like spaghetti squash, but its taste and texture were like a zucchini. It was quite good.
Do try potatoes in the fall next time. There's nothing like fresh new potatoes for Thanksgiving. They melt in your mouth.
