Quilt Update

I was finishing up the second work novel of 2022 last week, so I didn't have a lot of spare time to work on the linen quilt. Still, I put in a little effort every day, finishing one patch and starting another.

Scrolls of feather stitching and some (admittedly awkward) stars let me unwind after a long day of work. That's the real benefit of slow stitching for me. The final week I work on any book is so tense; it's the last chance I have to perfect anything.

I'm almost finished a second patch of stitched waves, and I think I will wrap that one up today before I take my weekly break from the project. I don't like leaving a threaded needle in a quilt; I always end up stabbing myself with it. :)

I love those stars! Stars in the sky aren't perfectly symmetrical, why should yours be?
