On to the Quilting

Two hours on my hands and knees, and countless finger jabs later, the koi quilt is batted, backed and pinned. Now I also remember why I don't make many bigger quilts these days. Man, I am getting too old for this.

I considered using just a vivid blue cotton thread for the hand quilting, but that will blend in the dark patches and stand out too much with the light patches, so I'm going to use threads that match (or are close to) each color in the patchwork.
