Jill brought over her thrifted lot of scrap fabric, so let's see how she did.
She bid on and won a lot of 12.4 lbs. of fabric for $16.03. She didn't measure the fabric but we'll estimate it's 3 yards per pound, or 37.2 yards. That works out to approximately .43 per yard. And the winner is . . . .
For thrifting 72-1/3 yards at .38 cents per yard, me! Ha. Aside from the better numbers, we also agreed that my lot's fabric was newer and I got a lot more yardage for my money. Jill will be donating $30.00 to my quilting charity, Quilts for Kids.
