I've been working at least an hour every night on the Election Night quilt, but it's taking longer than I expected. My fingers are still pretty stiff, and my neck issue isn't helping. This is how much I've done in seven days, about 1/6th of what I need to stitch to complete the piece:
Last year I could have done the same amount in half the time. Still, if I keep at it I should be able to get my fingers a little more flexible. I'm also going to work on my posture to take the pressure off my spine.

And it will be so worth it, no matter how long it takes. You're not under a deadline with it so just take your time and enjoy the journey.
