Despite the cold weather and local critters the little garden at Casa Valerean is doing quite well. We have lots of strawberries:

The spinach is doing much better than I thought it would:
Nothing seems to make the chives or the oregano quit:
All the credit for our bounty goes to Kat and her dad. I'm really proud of what they've done with this project.

It looks great. Almost everything that was in my garden died during that killer cold snap. Yesterday it got up to 76! Crazy weather.
The only things that seem to have made it are the cilantro and the garlic.
What kind of strawberries are those? I used to grow alpine strawberries until I realized why I never got any red ones. The dog was managing to get his nose through and delicately pick the red ones off the plant! But they're profoundly sweeter than any other strawberry I've had.
