Meditative Whirl

Since I got the sewing room completely tidied up and reorganized I gave myself permission to do some slow stitching as a reward. This time I hauled out my collection of eco-dyed scraps:

There is this one dreamy white/brown/very pale green piece I've been saving for a while that I decided to stitch:

I took a skein of hand-dyed variegated green perle cotton and started feather stitching in a circle. I didn't really think about it; I just stitched until it felt right, and then framed it with a feather stitched border:

Very happy with how it turned out -- good practice for stitching consistently, too. :)
